one star less for the delivery

The product was recommended by a friend, long expiry date and came with a free gift which is a truly surprise.
However, I have to comment on the delivery:
1. No information update at all on the expected delivery date.
2. The box just left at the door (just in front of the door, not riser) without knock at the door (I was at home)/message/call at all, after all it is a 300 dollars' worth package, I personally don't feel safe at all to purchase online again.
Hope can improve on the delivery procedure.
